Computerized EMS Reporting

Rescue 6 has a Gateway Laptop in the Front on the Officers side. It is used to generate a report on Patient care that is use by the Rhode Island Dept. of Health. The reports are sent to RIDH electronically, who then uses the information for statistical tracking. Hopkins Hill Fire Dept. was the second Fire Dept. in the state to use the reporting system.

In the rear action area there is a monitor, key board, and mouse connected to the laptop in the front of the Rescue, this gives us more flexibility when doing reports.

After reports are generated  there is a printer in the rear action area where copies are printed, one copy is for the Hospital, the second is the Fire Stations copy, it is also saved electronically.
