Automatic Ventilating (Breathing) Machine

This system assists the patient's breathing (ventilates) by delivering oxygen at the rate, pressure, and volume set by the Emergency Medical Technician. It requires no internal or external power source. 

The system connects to an Endotrachael Tube (on the right in the photo) which in inserted into the patient's throat to deliver oxygen directly into the airway.

Once set to the proper parameters, the system is fully automatic which frees up the Emergency Medical Technician to perform other tasks.
