Firefighter
II
In addition to attaining certification as
Firefighter
I, the following advanced training is necessary to qualify as
Firefighter II:
CLASSROOM TRAINING:
- Fire site situation analysis
- Proper and expedient deployment of fire site resources
- Principles of command
TESTING:
After completing these classroom requirements, the
Firefighter II candidate is tested on:
- Analyzing orally presented fire site situations
- Making command type decisions on correct methods to handle the
situations presented
Upon successfully
meeting these requirements, the candidate may be certified as a Firefighter
II.
