On behalf of the men and women of the Hopkins Hill Fire Department, I welcome you to our web site. It is our intent to make this site interesting and informative to both fire-fighters and the public we serve.
April 1976 I joined as a member of the fire department. In February 1992 I became the full-time Chief. We have met and will continue to meet the challenges of growth and change. This web site demonstrates our intent to continue to take advantage of the latest technology in meeting our obligations to the citizens of this district
The Hopkins Hill Fire Department offers structural fire and wildfire suppression, emergency medical services consisting of basic and advanced life support. We are one of four fire districts serving the Town of Coventry, Rhode Island. The department is a combination of paid/volunteer cross-trained, dual roll fire-fighters/emergency medical technicians. Seven full time fire-fighters and an active roster of over 38 volunteer personnel staff the department.
